The Just In Case is an end-to-end product development project focused on accessing beauty products within a cluttered purse and shaped through a parallel process of research and design. I led interviews and conducted surveys to ground the opportunity and explored dozens of concepts before landing on a tactile form inspired by vintage beauty compacts. Through eight physical prototypes, the design was tested and refined to balance usability and aesthetic appeal, guided by a research-backed Product Requirement Document (PRD) and an up-to-date Bill of Materials (BOM). The final design was an all-in-one beauty carrier that prioritizes intuitive access, customization, and modularity, resulting in a presentation-ready model and supporting technical documentation.
